GURU is a long established IT Support consulting company located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. For over 14 years, GURU has been providing excellent IT Support (Onsite and Remote) and IT Project Management services to Washington DC Metro area clients. Unfortunately their website wasn’t as established on the Web as their company is offline.

What We Found:

Boost Labs first began working with GURU by Analyzing their website to get a true understanding of their traffic. Based on our analysis report we found the following:

• Search Engine Rank was very low compared to GURU’s competitors as well as a poor back linking.
• Keywords being used to find GURU’s website was based on company name and not based on service names (ex: IT Support) or location.
• Website structure and content was not optimized for any specific keywords.
• Zero social media profiles and online press mentions with link backs to GURU’s website.

Our Solution:

Using the Website Analysis as a baseline, we started our Website Traffic Program which included the following:

• Helped design a new website facelift and optimized the website to better rank within Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
• Created an Online PR strategy to announce events or promotions the company was running. Developed specific landing page per release and/or campaign.
• Developed a Email Marketing program to keep current clients and business contacts current with updates from GURU.
• Developed a Social Media campaign to connect GURU with social networks.

Result:

With our continuous Web Marketing efforts, GURU is now ranking on Page 1 on all the major search engines based on specific keywords. Website visitor to new client conversion has increased significantly, giving GURU the opportunity to earn more business through its website.
