React Developer

Boost Labs is on the lookout for a talented React Developer to join our fam and work with us to push what is technologically feasible. What would you be doing?

  • Working with our Designers to build out complex user interfaces and data visualizations to design specifications
  • Research and implement technologies to provide elegant and accommodating solutions for our clients that’ll blow their minds
  • Application build-outs, implementation, and maintenance
  • Ability to integrate into different platforms and environments
  • Working with other developers cooperatively
  • Make sure things look right across various browsers
  • Development of tests to ensure clean code
  • Code with React JS, HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS3, and other front-end technologies
  • Build out responsive application designs
  • Build out mobile and table application designs

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 2 years of demonstrated work experience focused on building user interfaces in React
  • Have a creative and artistic eye, as well as a technical and analytical mind (left and right brain balance)
  • Possess a keen eye for details such as color, typography, layout design, etc.
  • Intricate knowledge of CSS and HTML
  • Some knowledge of JavaScript and D3
  • Understanding of design and web production best practices, including (but not limited to) web usability standards, cross-browser compatibility, and building page templates
  • Experience developing with user experience best practices
  • Version control experience (we use GitHub)
  • Have extreme attention to detail, like some sort of developer cyborg
  • Be organized and thorough
  • Learn quickly, also like a cyborg
  • Be able to manage stress and multitask
  • Have good communication skills — both written and spoken
  • Have the ability to collaborate as part of a team and be a team player
  • Possess a strong sense of responsibility and drive
  • Be able to get shit done no matter what
  • Be able to to take constructive criticism
  • Be self-motivated, we don’t believe in micromanaging!
